My first publication was in 2010 and it was called Sophie's Salon, published by Puffin Books Australia as part of their 'Aussie Bites' series.

Since then I have written a series of eight junior fiction books about a character called Violet Mackerel. Violet has a special appreciation of small things and she creates theories around them that help her to navigate her family, friendships and the world around her. The stories are mostly read by and to children aged 5-10. The Violet stories are published by Walker Books Atheneum, an imprint of Simon & Schuster USA, and Walker Books UK and have been translated into French and Turkish. Books in the series have won Honour Book in the 2011 Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) Book of the Year Awards in the Younger Readers category, the Young Readers/Picture Book Award category of the Australian Family Therapists’ Award for 2013, been short-listed for the 2013 Children’s Peace Literature Award and for the 2014 CBCA Book of the Year Awards in the Younger Readers category. The books are currently listed among the Top 50 Early Chapter Books Starring Mighty Girls.

My other series is about Lily the Elf, an elf who lives in a small mossy house under a bridge with her Dad and her Granny. These stories are perfect for brand new independent readers. There are six Lily the Elf stories in all and they are published by Walker Books Australia and Kane Miller Books USA.

I have also published a picture book, Lilli-Pilli's Sister, a junior fiction book Neville No-Phone, and a companion to the Violet Mackerel series compiling Violet's craft projects for young readers to make, How to Make Small Things with Violet Mackerel.
